Welcome to the Medilink Midlands Member & Community Hub – specifically, our forum discussion area. This is a space for collaboration, conversation, and community-building across the life sciences, medtech, and health tech sectors.
We are committed to maintaining a friendly, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for all users, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, or background.
This Code of Conduct outlines expected behaviour and the consequences of unacceptable behaviour within the forum area. It applies to all patrons, members, partners, staff, speakers, and guests engaging in forum discussions.
Principles
We invite all participants to help us keep the forums safe, constructive, and welcoming. Please engage in good faith, contribute positively, and be mindful of the community around you.
We expect everyone to:
Respect different opinions, perspectives, and experiences
Communicate professionally and courteously, even in disagreement
Help foster a productive space for discussion and learningMedilink Midlands reserves the right to moderate or remove posts, and take appropriate action, at its discretion.
Expected behaviour
Use respectful language at all times
Stay on topic and contribute constructively to the conversation
Consider your tone – be courteous, especially when challenging ideas
Support other members by sharing insights and resources
Report any issues or inappropriate behaviour to the Medilink Midlands teamUnacceptable behaviour
Unacceptable behaviour includes (but is not limited to):
Personal attacks, name-calling, or aggressive comments
Discriminatory, harassing, or hateful language or imagery
Trolling, spam, self-promotion not relevant to the discussion
Posting confidential or misleading information
Deliberate disruption of conversations or derailing discussions
Any content that is defamatory, threatening, obscene, or offensiveConsequences of unacceptable behaviour
Posts may be edited, removed, or flagged by moderators
Repeat or serious offenders may be suspended or removed from the forum
Medilink Midlands may revoke platform access and, if necessary, review membership statusIf you witness or experience inappropriate behaviour
If you experience or observe behaviour that violates this Code, please contact the Medilink Midlands team immediately. All reports will be handled confidentially and with care.
